I am studying Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, a degree that combines technology with healthcare, and my choice comes from both my academic interests and my life experiences. My studies have required strong focus, consistency, and the ability to learn independently, especially while adjusting to a new academic system and demanding coursework. I came to Switzerland alone as an international student from Pakistan, knowing no one, and that experience has shaped how I handle my education. As the eldest daughter, I grew up with responsibility, and that sense of responsibility naturally carried into my studies. My parents’ hard work and sacrifices motivated me to take my education seriously and push through difficulties rather than avoid them. Studying AI in Medicine has not been easy it introduced new technical concepts, medical knowledge, and problem-solving approaches but learning to navigate these challenges strengthened my discipline and confidence. Managing my studies while adapting to a new country, culture, and system taught me how to stay organized, self-reliant, and focused. These experiences did not distract me from my academic goals; instead, they helped me grow into a student who can handle pressure, learn independently, and stay committed to mastering a complex and meaningful field.
