Moving to Berlin to study was a big step, but choosing HTW made the transition much easier. The university has a very diverse and international vibe. I’ve met classmates from all over the world, which makes group projects really interesting because you get so many different perspectives.

The campus culture is relaxed but ambitious. I study at the Treskowallee campus, which is super green and peaceful a nice break from the busy city center. The semester ticket (public transport pass) is a lifesaver and lets you explore all of Berlin easily.

While German bureaucracy can be tough, the student office and professors are generally very approachable and helpful if you show initiative. I definitely recommend HTW if you want a balance of good education and the amazing Berlin student life.
