Studying Mechatronics in the master’s program at FH Aachen has been one of the most rewarding academic experiences I’ve had so far. What I appreciate most is how hands‑on the program is—instead of staying in theory for too long, we constantly apply what we learn in real projects, whether it’s control systems, robotics, or embedded development.

The labs are well equipped. I’ve especially enjoyed the interdisciplinary nature of the program: one week I’m working on sensor integration, the next I’m diving into machine learning for automation. That mix keeps the studies challenging but also exciting.

Another big plus is the international environment. You meet people from all over the world. Overall, the program has helped me build both technical depth and practical confidence, and I feel well prepared for future work in robotics, automation, or R&D.
